Welcome to our ongoing efforts as we look to complete and implement the newest Cooks Creek Conservation Plan. On this page you will find the most current studies regarding the watershed, as well as public hearing information, and the process to provide YOUR input!
Princeton Hydro – Cooks Creek Watershed Conservation Plan: This is the base document that summarizes and presents the efforts undertaken by Princeton Hydro, Cooks Creek Watershed Association volunteers, and members of Springfield and Durham Townships. Over the course of several months, individuals assessed various sections of the creek to identify the impacts of erosion and single non-point-source pollution. These efforts allowed for a thorough review of possible sites for further conservation efforts – highlighted in the public hearing video.
Public Hearing Video: Our public hearing to present findings was held on Wednesday, June 17th. It was recorded via Zoom. Scott Douglas makes the initial remarks with Mike Hartshorne (Princeton Hydro) picking up around the 8′ mark. It is recommended that the accompanying slides be viewed as Mr. Hartshorne presents.
Public Hearing Accompanying Slides: These were the slides presented by Mike Hartshorne and accompany the video. Likewise, they may be view independently.
