SUMMARY:2016 Annual Green-Up Day
DESCRIPTION:The Cooks Creek Watershed Association Green-Up Day begins at 9 a.m. on April 2\, at Springtown Volunteer Fire Company\, Route 212\, Springtown\, Pa. This day gives us a chance to clean up after the winter and help keep the exceptional value designation Cooks Creek has been given by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. \nCoffee\, donuts and a lunch of homemade chili and desserts will be provided. \nThe opportunity is open to anyone who would like to help out and especially good for community groups looking to gain volunteer hours. Children may participate if accompanied and supervised by an adult. All safety and clean-up equipment is provided. \nIf your group would like to participate in the day\, please contact Scott Douglas\, CCWA president for registration at 610-346-1604.
